Tooth Whitening
Tooth whitening makes your smile sparkle! And it can be yours!
Teeth can become dark due to various factors:
- The effects of aging
- Certain foods and drinks, such as coffee & wine, stain teeth
- Smoking
- Medications
Temporary Whitening
Whitening (Bleaching) can be accomplished through two different means:
- In-office whitening (at Dr. Macias's office). A powerful whitening gel is placed in contact with the teeth under a special light for about an hour.
- At home (Dentist Supervised). The patient wears a custom-fitted mouth tray containing a whitening gel for a few hours each day or night over the course of a few weeks.
Whitening results through these procedures are temporary and vary for each individual. Regular touch-ups are required to maintain the teeth at their brighter color shade.

Permanent Whitening
The best way to have permanent white teeth is with Porcelain Veneers.
Veneers are thin, custom-made pieces of porcelain that cover the front of an unsightly tooth.
- With this method, you can have bright, beautiful white teeth, no matter how dark or yellow your teeth are now.

Cesar used veneers to permanently whiten his teeth. |
